Congratulations to the Intermountain BG14 team on the recent success at the Zonals held in Raleigh, North Carolina. One of our Intermountain Boys Team made it all the way to the finals, losing only to the Southern's number one team. Matt Cowley and Trey Kennedy proudly represented our district on that team. On the way to the finals, our team beat the Southern's number two team which was the first victory for an Intermountain team against a Southern team ever! As well, no other team from Intermountain had ever even been in the finals of this clay court tournament.

The two sportsmanship awards from the tournament also went to two Utah kids: Trey Kennedy (Salt Lake City) and Tessa Wray (Park City). What a fabulous way to represent Utah and Intermountain tennis!
