Juniors in the Section will be joining us at the Intermountain Jr. Team Tennis Sectional Championship in Kearns, UT at Kearns Oquirrh Park & Fitness August 1-3rd. There are four different divisions involved in this tournament, 14 & Under Intermediate and Advanced and 18 & Under Intermediate and Advanced. The winning team from each division will be invited to attend the USTA Jr. Team Tennis National Championships in Mobile, Alabama. The 14 & Under Intermediate and Advanced Championships will be Oct. 23-26 and the 18 & Under Intermediate and Advanced Championships will be Oct. 30-Nov.2.

Due to the unexpected scheduling of the Nevada State High School tennis championships, the 2008 Great Pumpkin Sectional Championships have to change dates from October 23-27 to October 26-30. For the last 6 years, the State Championships have been scheduled for the third week in October. However, this year, they have used the fourth weekend (which happens to be the same as our scheduled Great Pumpkin). The entry deadline remains the same at September 25.
