PLEASE REVIEW WITH PLAYERS    Self rated players who enter the League Tennis Program by misrepresenting their actual skill level are considered to have violated the standards of good conduct, fair play, and good sportsmanship and may the subject to a grievance complaint and possible disqualification by the League Grievance Committee.     Self-rated players and players with year-end computer ratings or appealed ratings should be advised of this recommendation by the USTA    Players who are good athletes or intend to spend a great deal of time taking lessons and practicing should be aware that their improvement may be significant enough to surpass their original self-rating by the time they reach the end of the local league season or championships level.  To avoid NTRP disqualification, these players should enter the league at a higher level of play at the beginning of the local league season.
