Outstanding Boys High School Team

Boys high school tennis is underway in Utah. It's an exciting time of competition despite the sometimes unreliable weather. Before we get too far into the season, we want to give a shout out to American Fork High School, the recipients of the 2022 Wilbur Braithwaite Award for Outstanding Boys High School Tennis Team.

Caveman Tennis

Named after Wilbur Braithwaite, who coached high school tennis at Manti High for 53 years with over eleven state high school championship titles, this award recognizes achievement in high school tennis.

Coach Jason Herrud coaches the Cavemen, who earned the 6A state championship title. “We made a run [in 2021], but this year’s team was very deep and the kids sacrificed individually to make our team better.” Congrats American Fork Boys Tennis and good luck this season!
