The Utah Tennis Association is a not-for-profit organization, whose mission is to promote and develop the sport of tennis in communities throughout the State of Utah. UTA began in 1957 and is one of six districts in the Intermountain Tennis Association.
The ITA Section is one of seventeen sections comprising the United States Tennis Association (USTA).
The USTA is the governing body of tennis in the U.S. and is dedicated to the development and growth of tennis and establishes rules of play and standards of amateurism and good sportsmanship.
